Sandy Yang

Sandy Yang records music & lives in So California (born in Tokyo, Japan). In the mid 90s she became a member of ‘The Red Krayola’ while attending Art Center College of Design in Pasadena. Along with Mayo Thompson & revolving members, they played in the U.S., Japan, Austria + France. Later with fellow RK band mate Tom Watson she played drums in the The Best of All. Her discography includes three albums with The Red Krayola, one with long time RK collaborators, Art & Language. She also provided vocals for an album by Jeff Moris Tepper (Captain Beefheart & His Magic Band) & an instrumental she released in 2010 on CD-RT imprint. Currently working on a solo record, some of her unreleased songs have been featured on Mike Watt’s – The Watt from Pedro Show.
She is accompanied by Gabie Strong
